ARIIA Innovator Training Program Round 10

Welcome to Round 10 of the Innovator Training Program

Thank you for your interest in the ARIIA Innovator Training Program (ITP). This online application form is powered by SmartyGrants. Applications for Round 10 Close 5pm ACST, Friday 17th May 2024. Training will commence within 3 to 6 weeks of the close of the round and is dependent on the delivery model that you are allocated to.

The contact-time commitment is a full-time equivalent period of three weeks. During this time the individual can continue with a fraction of their regular work commitments when not participating in the ITP. The ITP includes regularly scheduled compulsory online workshops and project discussions. There are a number of models of delivery, each offering the same training content structured in different ways:

Individual ITP: your choice of a 10-week program; a 5-week program; a 3-week program across 5 weeks

Themed ITP: We understand it can be difficult to identify just one problem to solve in your workplace. In Round 10 we will be offering a 6-week program for projects that focus on Innovative approaches to retain aged care workers.

Applicants will indicate their first and second preference for training models during the application process.

It is anticipated that applicants will be advised of the outcome of their application by COB Monday, 27 May 2024. Formal acceptance of the offer is required by 5.00pm ACST Friday 7 June 2024.

  • The 6-week themed program will commence on Monday,24 June and finish on Friday, 2 August 2024
  • The 10-week program will commence on Monday, 10 June 2024 and finish on Friday, 16 August 2024.
  • The 5-week program will commence on Monday, 17 June 2024 and finish on Friday, 19 July 2024.
  • The 3-week program will commence on Monday, 10 June 2024 and finish on Friday, 12 July 2024.
  • Tailored program - start date to be negotiated with your organisation

Allocation to the preferred training model will be accommodated where the minimum number of enrolled participants is met. Should an applicant’s preferred model not be offered, they will receive an offer of their second preference or an option to defer training to a subsequent round.

Once you have registered for SmartyGrants full instructions for the use of the platform are available electronically. ARIIA is a newly created centre hosted by Flinders University, you may receive correspondence from ARIIA or Flinders University with regard to your application for the Innovator Training Program.
